Routing
Intelligence

Advanced BGP capabilities for networks that demand full routing control and security.

🛡️

RPKI Validation

All received routes are validated against RPKI ROA records. Invalid prefixes are automatically rejected, protecting your network from route hijacks and leaks.

🔍

Looking Glass

Real-time looking glass available at every PoP. View BGP table entries, AS-path traces, and prefix reachability from any of our seven network locations.

⚙️

Prefix Filtering

Strict IRR-based prefix filtering on all sessions. We validate announced prefixes against RADB, RIPE, ARIN, and APNIC databases to prevent route leaks.

🔀

AS-Path Analysis

Visualize AS-path data for every prefix in your table. Identify suboptimal routes and apply targeted traffic engineering to improve performance.

📋

Custom Route Policies

Define granular import/export policies per session. Set local preferences, MED values, and community tags to shape traffic flows exactly as needed.

🌐

IX Peering

Direct peering at DE-CIX, AMS-IX, LINX, Equinix IX, and SIX. Reduce transit costs and latency by exchanging traffic directly with peers.

Common Questions

Do I need my own ASN?

For BGP Transit and Private Peering, yes — you'll need your own ASN and IP space registered with a Regional Internet Registry (ARIN, RIPE, etc.). If you don't have an ASN yet, our team can assist you through the application process.

What is RPKI and why does it matter?

RPKI (Resource Public Key Infrastructure) cryptographically validates that a network is authorized to announce specific IP prefixes. It prevents route hijacking — where an attacker advertises your IP space to intercept or blackhole your traffic. We validate all received routes and sign all our announcements.

Can I peer with specific networks through you?

Yes. Through our IX memberships (DE-CIX, AMS-IX, LINX, Equinix IX), we can facilitate bilateral peering arrangements. For high-traffic peers, we can set up direct private peering on your behalf.

How do you handle route leaks?

We enforce strict IRR-based prefix filtering, maximum-prefix limits, and RPKI validation on all BGP sessions. Additionally, we implement AS-path filtering to reject routes with known bogon ASNs or suspiciously long paths.
